How old do I have to be to view this site or submit my work to this site?
This is a view at your own risk site. We allow a wide range of content so many of our submissions are family friendly while others are not. All submissions will be reviewed and placed in the appropriate section of our site, and anything that is for a more mature audience will be labeled as such. I would encourage anyone under 18 years of age to ask permission from an adult before viewing anything that is marked as 18+ . I ask that only users 15 and older submit their work to us, and again if you are under 18 please ask your parents before submitting. I can usually tell when something is written by any persons under 15, so unless you are a really good and mature writer, these submissions will most likely be deleted.
Is there a limit on the number of submissions I am allowed to send?
no, not all. As long as submissions are open you are free to submit as many as you like. Keep in mind though that the more submissions we receive, the longer it will take to sort through them and then have them added to the site.
How do I submit my work to the site?
You can submit your work by filling out the submission form. Once you fill out the form (don't forget to click the submit button at the end) our staff will review your submission. You will be notified whether or not your submission was approved. If Not approved, you will be given a reason why and may be asked to correct certain things in the article before resubmitting. Please look over the rules and guidelines before subbing anything to this site.
what are the rules and guidelines?
Submissions with the following content will not be accepted: - Pornography: While we understand that sex may be a key element in a story, we will not accept any submission with a story line that is nothing but sex. We do accept Erotica as long as it’s not gratuitous smut or pornographic. All erotic submissions should have a clear story line, with a plot, conflict, and resolution. This also goes for all images that are submitted along with your work. For further clarification on what is acceptable for our erotica section, please refer to the erotica post in this section. -Condones Violence and abuse: Content that glorifies or condones gratuitous violence and abuse will not be allowed. This goes for anything that is senselessly violent, gory, or disturbing. We also try to avoid subjects such as Rape, sexual abuse, and child abuse. The only acceptation to this is if it is part of the story line and is simply implied, leaving the graphic details out. -Condones drug Use and illegal activity: We do not condone drug use or any illegal activity on this site and your submissions should not either. It is common in some stories for these types of subjects to pop up from time to time, especially in horror stories, and this is fine as long as your story or article does not CONDONE or glorify such behavior. - Racist, prejudice, or offensive Content: This goes for anything that is sexist or homophobic. Submissions should not defame or belittle any religion, race, culture, nationality, gender, or lifestyle. We will not accept anything that insults or belittles or makes fun of anyone with a disability, physical or mental. - Fan Fiction: Due to copy-right issues we will not accept any fan fiction. Please be honest and do not attempt to slip something past us that is fan fiction because there is a good chance that at least one of us will recognize it. -Unedited or overly sloppy submissions: For your convenience there is a proof-reading tool located on the main page. I advise anyone who has trouble editing their content to use this tool. Our staff will read over each entry and if needed, will do some light editing of the content. What we will look for his mistakes made in spelling, punctuation, and grammar. However, if any submission is just full of errors and looks as though no time was taken to proof-read or edit it, it will not be accepted. -Plagiarized work: Plagiarism is defined as the practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own. Anything that you submit should be your own work and ideas. We will not accept a previously published story, article, or poem, even if you give credit to the original author. We all love works of famous writers and poets, but that’s not the point of this site. If it’s not your original work, don’t submit it. Images are allowed even if they are not yours as long as you don’t claim that it is your original work. All images are up to the discretion of our staff, if we feel that the image violates our guidelines or is irrelevant to the story line then we may choose to not add the image to your work if accepted. -Distasteful or disrespectful content: Please do not use this site to bad mouth, bash, or bitch about another person. If you are writing something about someone who is real, change the names. This site is not meant to get revenge on anyone or humiliate someone that you dislike. If that is your purpose then get yourself a blog and have at it but don’t use our site for your petty squabbles. Likewise, we will not accept anything that is just in poor taste or overly offensive. If you have questions about this please feel free to contact us and ask if something you wish to submit is allowed. Once again, all submissions are at the discretion of our staff. We will not reject something simply because we don’t like it but if something is just too gross, rude, or disturbing we will make a decision whether or not to allow such content on our site.
Things that may be accepted but not encouraged: -Self help articles: We are looking for creative writing on this site. That is not to say though that we won’t post other content. However, for an article of this type to be accepted we ask that it be well written, well researched, and makes a valid point. It also must stay within the bounds of our rules and guidelines. - Religious or Political articles: These types of articles are genuinely frowned upon but not necessarily forbidden. The same rules apply as are defined in the Self Help articles above. -Cartoons, comics, and children’s stories: Most of our readers are over 18, and while we do take submissions from anyone 15 years and older (with parents permission) we encourage you to submit work that it aimed at young adult and adult. (This does not mean porn).
